I don't know why publishers/cover designers think if they put an eye on the cover, it would make the book much more appealing. And not just any eye, but one big CREEPY shadowed eye staring straight at your soul
This is wrong, I mean just look at it!
And you know what? The cover was NOT traumatizing enough, but they felt the "need" to add it to the spine. Like WHY?
Now how am I going to enjoy looking at my shelf with these devil's eyes tracing my EVERY move? Just How?
